A large group of scouts, leaders and parents enjoyed a magical weekend in the snow in mid-August. They camped at Sawpit Creek campground and enjoyed lots of cross-country skiing in the Thredbo Valley before weather closed in on the last morning. B-R-A-V-O-O-O to Brumby for exceptional organisation of the most complicated activity on the scout calendar.
Scouts Ellie, Jessica, Olly, Jamie, Matt, Nick, Luke and Jack, accompanied by Koala, Brumby and Seal hiked 30km in Namadgi at the start of the school holidays. The weather was superb. Congratulations to Olly and Jamie for their effort planning this hike – work done towards their Australian Scout Medallion.
